Here we offer 7 different hand-brushed Japanese Provide tattoo designs by Master Japanese Calligrapher Eri Takase. For these Provide tattoo designs the fonts are different, but the characters and the meaning are the same. So order the style you like - the meaning is the same for each design.
Provide in Japanese is 扶養 which is read fuyou. The Japanese word fuyou also means "to support" and is the root of 扶養者 (read fuyousha) meaning "provider; breadwinner; benefactor". In our opinion it is better to use Provide (fuyou) to indicate one is a "provider" or "breadwinner for the family" rather than the more explicit fuyousha. The reason being that Japanese simply appends the kanji 者 (read sha) meaning "person" to change it from "provide" to "provider" - however, as the word is describing oneself this sounds redundant. So if you are looking for a tattoo for "provider" we suggest using this design.
