Custom Japanese Calligraphy (Unframed)

This is an order for custom work done on handmade Japanese paper. You would be working directly with Eri Takase and a translator to create a unique, custom design.

The design can be anything including Zen or Biblical text, names, anything that you would like in beautiful Japanese calligraphy.

We would take you through each step of the process including options for translation, fonts, and the layout. Electronic samples are shown that we can discuss and modify as needed. You have complete input into each step of the design and more importantly you will know how the final work will look.

The design process normally takes 2-3 design sets. Some customers like to take more time to make decisions and this is perfectly fine. Our responses are normally within a business day.

The final artwork is on handmade Japanese paper that is suitable for framing.
