The Japanese word musha is composed of the kanji mu meaning "Warrior" and sha meaning "Person." The first kanji mu also reads bu and is used in Bushido (bushidou). Musha implies a warrior in the Bushido tradition. Warrior (musha) was used in the Akira Kurosawa film Kagemusha which means "Shadow Warrior."
