The Japanese phrase ichigeki hissatsu is composed of the words ichigeki meaning "one blow" or "a single hit" and hissatsu meaning "Certain Kill." One Hit Certain Kill (ichigeki hissatsu) is the martial arts ideal when the objective is to kill with a single blow and is reminiscent of the sniper motto "One Shot, One Kill."
