Over the last several years consumers of Japanese Calligraphy have become increasingly sophisticated. Previous to this the demand was such that computer fonts were considered acceptable. But today, with the prevalence of kanji on the market, consumers have come to respect and appreciate beautiful and well crafted designs.
To create designs that work well we have developed an iterative process where we work closely with you on all aspects of the design. This process starts with options for the translation and sample fonts. This is done with live translators and the designs are created by Master Japanese Calligrapher Eri Takase. If you would like to see an example of this process in action visit Logo Design Process.

The "Willow" symbol on the sample marketing material was designed and crafted to match the exquisite tastes and style of the Willow Salon.
